NeighborWorks Alaska is seeking a full-time receptionist (or for the right individuals we might agree to job sharing with two part-time staff members). You are the first impression of our organization and it is critical that you set the tone of a positive friendly culture that we strive to uphold for our customers and employees. Job responsibilities are to greet the public, receive incoming telephone calls, schedule and maintain our multiple conference rooms, answer general questions, work with caterers and order food for meetings, typing, filing, answering emails, process the mail, use the fax machine, postage machine, and copier, support other departments with projects, plus other similar duties as assigned. A minimum of two years of previous receptionist experience or customer service experience using a multi-line phone system is required. The successful candidate for this position must provide great customer service, communication, and organizational skills as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with the potential for a flex schedule. Punctuality and excellent attendance are critical to this position.
